Chronic or long standing pain, recurring and essentially complex pain, is an unconscious automated instruction that your body keeps executing as an automated threat loop. It has a multifaceted neural pathway that keeps the pain response efficient. This is where we need more than treatment to intervene because that underlying response still runs regardless of what you do to the tissue. We need to address and work with the internal automatic response and recalibrate the signal.
